Visweswara Rao Brahmanapalli

About The Artist
I am Visweswara Rao Brahmanapalli, a contemporary visual artist whose artistic journey is deeply inspired by nature, spirituality, human emotions, and the beauty of everyday life. Through landscapes, portraits, and still-life paintings, I strive to create works that evoke reflection, harmony, and a deeper connection with the world around us.
A defining moment in my artistic career was receiving the Telangana State "Award of Excellence" in the All India Painting Competition (2015) on the theme “Bathukamma, Flowers and Femininity”, presented by the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana. This prestigious state recognition remains one of my most cherished achievements, affirming my commitment to celebrating the cultural richness and traditions of Telangana through art.
My work has also been recognized nationally and internationally. In 2019, I was selected for the International Artist Grand Prize Competition in Taipei, Taiwan. I received the P. V. Narasimha Rao Cash Award at the 77th All India Art Exhibition (2018) and was honored with Highly Commendable Certificates at the 75th and 76th All India Art Exhibitions organized by the Hyderabad Art Society. Earlier, in 1999, I received a Highly Commendable Certificate from the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur.
As an artist, I continue to explore the intersection of culture, spirituality, and contemporary expression, seeking to create meaningful visual experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.
Signature Style :Mosaic style

My mosaic signature style painting is deeply inspired by the philosophy of Advaita, which teaches the non-dual nature of existencethe realization that the individual self and the universal consciousness are ultimately one. Every fragment in my compositions symbolizes a unique life experience, emotion, and moment of transformation. In works such as 'Pushpaka Vimanam' and 'Serpent K ' and 'Awakening', these individual elements unite to form a harmonious whole, reflecting the Advaitic truth that apparent separation is an illusion and that all creation is interconnected. Inspired by the belief that light emerges through brokenness, my layered mosaic patterns express resilience, healing, and inner awakening. Vibrant colors embody the energy of the soul, while geometric forms evoke sacred balance and the cosmic order that underlies existence. Through texture, rhythm, and symbolic abstraction, my paintings become contemplative spaces that invite viewers to transcend duality, experience inner stillness, and recognize the divine presence within themselves and the universe. My signature mosaic style transforms fragmented forms into a visual meditation on unity, consciousness, and spiritual awakening.
